Monks:-

• Apart from the Church, Christians had another kind of community, called Monks. They were deeply religious people and they used to live separately and chose to live isolated lives, far away from people amongst towns.

• They lived in religious places called Monasteries. Their monasteries were also known as Abbeys. Monks decided to live their life in these monasteries and spend their time by devoting them to god, farming and reading.

Difference between monks and priest was that this life was open for both man and women, man becomes monks and women become nun. whereas priest's life was elegible for man only.

Similarity between monks and priest, monks and nuns couldn't marry. They had to spend their life peacefully in prayer.

• In 13th century, a new type of community between monks were emerged, friars. They were some group of monks, instead of living separately, they chose to move from one place to another, contact people and live on their charity.

Answer:

A monk is a person who practices religious asceticism by monastic living, either alone or with any number of other monks. A monk may be a person who decides to dedicate his life to serving all other living beings, or to be an ascetic who voluntarily chooses to leave mainstream society and live his or her life in prayer and contemplation. The concept is ancient and can be seen in many religions and in philosophy.

The Priests are a classical musical group, made up of three Roman Catholic priests from the Diocese of Down and Connor in Northern Ireland. Fr. Eugene and his brother Fr. Martin O'Hagan are originally from the village of Claudy, County Londonderry with the family now residing in Derry whilst Fr. David Delargy is from Ballymena, County Antrim.
