Tansen' s father name was Mukund Pandey(also known as makrand Pandey ,Mukund Mishra, or Mukund ram) was a poet and accomplished musician. Tansen' s birth name was ramtanu or tan sen. later, Akbar gave him the title of "mian". after that he was also known as mian tansen'.i don't know the name of his mother.
