Ijaradar also known as the mustajirs were the revenue farmers that prevailed during the era of the British East India Company.
During the year of 1772, lands were put up for auction in order to settle the land revenues with the mustajirs. The British epoch also saw the settlement with the ijaradars which concerned the jalmahal or any market controlled by the government.
