During the 7th and 8th century emerged a new clan of people who came to be know as Rajputs. They basically belonged to the warriors class of people and were located in Rajasthan and some central part of INDIA.

The Rajputs came in to the power after the death of the great emperor Harsha Vardhana during the 7th century.
