The Third battle of Panipat was fought on 14 Jan 1761.The battle started from 9 am and lasted till around 4pm.The battle is regarded as one of the deadliest battle of all times and was fought between Maratha Empire and Durrani Empire (which were supported by Indian Rohillas).The Maratha commander in chief was the Sadashivrao Bhau and Durrani chief was the emperor Ahmad Shah Abdali.It ended with the defeat of Marathas.
