a) Time taken by Mrs. Smith's students = 16 minutes

Time taken by Mrs. Brown's students = 18 minutes

Time taken by Mrs. Smith's students = 16 = 8

Time taken by Mrs. Brown's students 18 9

ratio = 8:9

Answer - (vi) 8:9

b) Answer - (i) 5 counts

c) Time taken by Mrs. William's students = 14

Time taken by Mrs. Jones's students = 20

difference in time = 20 - 14 = 6

Answer - (iii) 6

d) 16/20 + 18/20

16 + 18 = 34 = 17
