There are various national and international foundations and NGO along with government who work for the welfare of children.

Govt policy for child welfare are

1. ICDS ( Integrated child development scheme)

2. Mid day meal scheme

3. Trackchild under ICDS

4. Sabla Yojana

5. Scholarships for poor children.

Some of NGO and intl committees are:-

Kailash Satyarthi foundation - This group has tremendously devoted its efforts for service of children.They provide education and health.They even rescue children from child labour, trafficking and from being sex slaves.
For this ultraoutstanding efforts Kailash Satyarthi the head of the organization had been given the Nobel prize for peace in 2014 along with Pakistan's Malala Yousufzai.

UNICEF - This is the organisation which is operated by UN.It helps the poor children who lose their parents in any natural or man made calamity.
It collects fund from all capable nations and spend them on children's education.

There are more such institutions such as Salaam bacche foundn and Magicbus which r helping the society very much.
