both

Explanation:

because an unkind person can also be kind if you correct them and also an ordinary-looking person who is always kind to others because face is not everything.

Answer:

I will choose the person, who is ordinary-looking and always kind, as a proverb says that beauty is skin deep.

There are many proverbs, based on this such as :

• Don't Judge a Book by its cover - It means don't judge the behaviour of a person just by looking into his external appearance.

• Work decides who you are, not your appearance - It means that the work you do decides, the standard of yourself in ypur society, not the appearance.

• Beauty is skin deep - It means, that the real beauty of a person, i.e. his behaviour, is deep under the skin, not his/her outer appearance.

By this, we understand that an ordinary-looking person can be very kind from inside (By saying this, I don't want to harm the good people, who think, that they are beautiful)
