hey mate !!!

here is u r answer!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------****

the rate of evaporation be more in a beaker because the parties of water more heat absorb in beaker they almostly more heat give to water and more temperature of beaker they more evaporation rate .

Explanation:

The surface area of a saucer is more than the surface area of a beaker. When a liquid is placed over material with large surface area then the liquid will absorb more heat from the surroundings as compared to the liquid placed over a material with small surface area.

Hence, more is the amount of heat absorbed by liquid, more will be the movement of particles of the liquid. As a result, the kinetic energy of molecules will increase and it will overcome the force of attraction between the molecules.

Therefore, the rate of evaporation will increase.

Whereas in a beaker, as there is less surface area therefore, less heat will be absorbed by the molecules. Hence, the rate of evaporation will be less.

Thus, we can conclude that the rate of evaporation will be more in a saucer.
