Why 1/4 and -1 are zeros of polynomial p(x)= 4x square-3x+1​

Answer:

because alpha+ beta = - b/ a = 1/4 ------- (1)

and alpha× beta = c/ a =-1/1 ---------(2)

so, multiply eqn (2) by 4 then,

alpha× beta = -4/4 ----------(3)

so, from (1) and (3),

a =4,

b= -1,

c= 4
