As p(1/4) =0 and p(-1) =0 , 1/4 and -1 are zeroes of the given polynomial

Step-by-step explanation:

p(x) = 4x²+3x-1

1/4 and-1 are the zeros of p(x)

when we put 1/4 in x place we get

p(1/4)=4(1/4)²+3(1/4)-1

= 4×1/16+3/4-1

=1/4+3/4-1

= 4/4-1=1-1

p (1/4)= 0

p(-1)= 4(-1)²+3(-1)-1

=4(1)-3-1

=4-4

p(-1)=0

so 1/4 and -1 are the zeroes of p(x)
