2 methyl 2 pentene does not show any kind of Geometrical isomerism. The condition for G.I. is that the geometric centers should be on the same plane.Restricted rotation around geometric centres.Identical groups should not be attached to the same geometric centre. Identical groups when attached on the same side of two different geometric centers then it is called as cis isomerism , if they are on the opposite side then it is trans. If different groups are attached then it follows E/ Z isomerism.
