India is a vast country where time difference between the Eastern and Western most part of India is approximately two hours which appears as a big time difference and it creates many problem to carry a national activities (time schedule ). Hence, to remove such a big problem of time we need standard meridian which local time is accepted as uniform time for all over the country. So that the national activities can be carried out smoothly.
