Gas cylinder cannot be half filled because of the following reason:
1.Gases are the fluid form of matter which occupies the entire space of the container.
2.Moreover, particles of gases have more space and less force of attraction.
3.The have a tendency of occupying whole space.
For example :
If we take a balloon, and try to blow only half, the air that enters the balloon occupies full balloon even though we filled half.
Hence gas cylinder cannot be half filled.
