Why a plant needs sunlight for the process of photosynthesis???

plants need sunlight, It is because the photosynthetic pigment present in chlorophyll converts light energy into chemical energy.


 The chemical energy is used to synthesize glucose....

Hey!!!!

Plants make food by the process called photosynthesis and to carry on this process they require energy of the sun to change water and carbon dioxide into a sugar called glucose.
