why a short circuit causes fire?

heyaaa !!!!

☑️☑️When an insulated cable overheat due to high current (short circuit somewhere) the plastic insulation melts down and the wire itself got short circuited closer to supply allowing more current then more heat (particularly at the point of contact with ground) that will eventually ignite the plastic insulation. The best example is car circuitry where the  hot wire to starter couldnot be fused because the high current needed, in case of car crash it might get damaged and the battery has a lot of energy to supply, the best solution is a fast cutoff on ground/mass side.

shot circuit causes fire because when too many appliances are connected to one socket, it overloads the socket as the the appliance draws a large amount of current. thus short circuit takes place
