A SIMPLE MATCHSTICK DOES NOT CATCH FIRE ON ROOM TEMPERATURE BECAUSE ON THE ROOM TEMPERATURE THE HEAT IN THE ATMOSPHERE IS NOT THAT MUCH THAT IT COULD LIGHT THE MATCHSTICK.IT REQUIRES A PARTICULAR IGNITION TEMPERATURE TO GET LIGHTENED UP.
