why a solar cooker is covered with a plane glass plate?

hey!!

here's the answer.........

glass does allow the captured heat to go out and hence provide a greenhouse effect.. Solar cookers are covered with a glass plates in order to capture heat. More and more heat is captured. Just like the green house effect, the glass plate does not allow the heat to escape.

because glass reflected the rays into cooker and secure from pollutants

seleena2: the cooker has plane glass plate because when we place the antenna facing towards sun its focal point comes at a point and the vessel gets heated enough to cook a dish
