Acid cannot be kept in metal container becoz it react with metal to form a poisonous metal salt and also make food stuff poisonous and cause bad effect on our health

acids react with metals to form metal salts and hydrogen gas . thus to prevent this reaction by keeping the acid in metal container , acids must not kept there .
