Why acute diseases become chronic diseases brainly?

Acute diseases are those which occur for a short period of time. While chronic diseases are those that takes place for a long period of time . Although acute diseases take place for a short period of time and has a less impact on health but if they are not cured in time they can turn in to a chronic one which causes a long term effect on health.
