Agnatha (Greek,[4] "no jaws") is a superclassof jawless fish in the phylum Chordata, subphylum Vertebrata, consisting of both present (cyclostomes) and extinct (conodontsand ostracoderms) species. The group excludes all vertebrates with jaws, known as gnathostomes.
