Alcohol is not weaker than water.

It can make you senseless, can kill you too.

If you are asking for solvent then it is organic solvent which dissolves like solutes(organic mainly)

Thanks.
Tripathy.

Hello!!

First of all alcohol is not weaker then water!!

Water is more acidic than alcohols. ROH do contain an active hydrogen which on releasing exhibit acidic character. ROH after releasing H+ ion form alkoxide ion. The acidic character of alochols depends on stability of alkoxide ion. Larger the Alkyl group lower is the stability of alkoxide and lower is the acidic character of alcohol. Methanol is more acidic than water.

hope it helps
