Why aldehyde are generally more reactive than lines in nucleophilic reaction????

Carbonyl carbon acquires positive charge. Thus, nucleophile can attack on it easily. Hence, aldehydes show nucleophilic reactions. So, a nucleophile attached to a carbon atom and electrophile attached to a oxygen atom
