aldehydes and ketones have high boiling point than alcohol bcoz Alcohols contain an -OH group unlike carbonyls (aldehydes and ketones). They are hence capable of intermolecular hydrogen bonding as they have a H atom bonded to a highly electronegative atom (F, O or N) which contains at least one lone pair. Due to this further bonding, it will require a higher amount of energy to break alcohol’s bonds. Hence it has a higher boiling point. This is assuming that the compounds being compared contain an equal number of carbon atoms, hence they have a similar amount of dispersion forces.
