Why alkynes don't exhibit geometrical isomerism?

Alkynes have linear shape and therefore, do not show geometrical isomerism.

Sigma bonds can rotate around and shift. ..pi bonds like those in double can freely move around . since each carbon in a double bond chain can from another bond that doesn't move you can create symmetrical isomers . Alkyne are linear and can't have a substitute atom branching off
