why alloy is used in electron heating devices

because :
1)alloy has high resistance as compared to pure metal.
2)alloy does not get oxidised on high temperature.

as alloys have higher resistance than pure metal. they are heated more. alloys also have high melting point. considering all this reasons heating element is made up of alloys.
