why aluminium sheets do not corrode easily?

hi......aluminium does not corrode easily because it reacts with atmospheric oxygen to form a thin layer of aluminium oxide over it . This layer prevents further corrosin of aluminium.

because it's surface layer is protected by aluminium oxide..
