why ammonia is stronger base than acetamide​

The lone pair present upon the nitrogen in acetamide is being attracted towards the carbonyl group adjacent to the NH2 , thus inhibiting the donation of lone pair electrons. Where as in ammonia there isn't any functional group exerting -I effect upon Nitrogen and hence no inhibition making it more basic than acetamide.
