The amoeba uses the abiotic mode of reproduction, in which it diffuses itself into 2 daughter cells. in abiotic reproduction, a single organism is Involved in producing the off springs. The female body consists of various reproductive cells. Since the method of reproduction used by the amoeba is abiotic, there's no need of any male cells for reproduction. that's why it produces 2 daughter cells.
