why amorphus solid is called supercooled liquid

Amorphous solids are called as super cooled solids because these solids melt over a range of temperature
Example : the glass fixed in the windows or doors of old buildings are found to be smwt thicker at the bottom than at the top. It actually slowly flows down with changing temperature conditions and as a result, the bottom portion becomes thicker

Amorphous solids have the tendency to flow but, slowly. It does not form a crystalline solid structure as particles in solids do not move but here it moves. Hence it is called a supercooled liquid.
