Because we use ground water and rain charges up the ground water.This process keeps on going making changes in the amount of ground water.but some claim that the water amount shall remain same as before because of water cycle.so i would like to conclude that ''the water cycle keeps changing the water amounts,present on different surfaces on earth.so amount of water may be same but not
exactly accurate.
