Hydrogen gas is lighter than the air hence it can rise up to the air.it is present in air as a form of mixture such as water,coal etc.hydrogen has the highest energy content of any common fuel also.so it is regarded as the fuel of future

However, after nearly 20 years of research, hydrogen powered fuel cells are still struggling to become commercially viable. Its now not clear whether or not hydrogen fuel cells will ever become economic although research breakthroughs are always possible.
Hence, it can be made possible in the future.
