In Moist air Anhydrous Aluminium
(III) Chloride reacts with the moisture in air whereby it is partly hydrolyzed to form Hydrochloric gas which is otherwise known as HCl gas. Reason for the production of the white fumes = The Aluminium
(iii) Chloride is partly hydrolysed in moist air to form HCL gas.
