Humans have to grow, hunt, and gather food, but many living things aren't so constrained. Plants, algae and many speciesof bacteria can make their ownsustenance through the process of photosynthesis. They harness sunlight to drive the chemical reactions in their bodies that produce sugars.

Because animal cell does not contain pastid which are present in plants and these plastid contains chloroplast which contains chlorophyll.chlorophyll are the green pigment which involves in the process named as photosynthesis in plants.the process of photosynthesis take in required reactants prepaid food for plants .
