Antibiotics are useless against viral infections. This is because viruses are so simple that they use their host cells to perform their activities for them. So antiviral drugs work differently to antibiotics, by interfering with the viral enzymes instead.

As we know antibiotics are useless against the viral diseases and they are only prevent against the bacterial disease only as it breaks the wall of the cell and bacterial cells are only having cell wall and virus cells are not having cell wall in them so antibiotics don't work against the viral infection ......
