Overuse of antibiotics can lead to side effects and allergies, pathogens can also develop resistance against against the antibiotic that is overused. These resistant pathogens require higher doses of medicine or stronger antibiotics to treat. Thus, this the reason we should avoid antibiotics for common diseases like cold etc...
