Why any object travel light speed ? Explain

Till now,no other object has been discovered that travels at the speed of light. If object tries to travel at the speed of light it's mass becomes infinite and so does it needs infinite energy to travel an amount of mass from one place to another so quickly. Also, it is thought that if objects start travelling at the speed of light then, time travel will (at some extent) become possible.
