The Arctic Ocean is an isolated mediterranean basin with only limited communication with the world'soceans, principally the Atlantic Oceanvia the Fram Strait and the BarentsSea, and the Pacific Ocean via the Bering Strait.

Arctic ocean is not a ocean because it is an isolated Mediterranean basin with only limited communication with the worlds ocean ,principally the Atlantic Ocean via the frame strait and the Barents sea,and the Pacific Ocean via the Bering strait.
