Heya !!!!
=> 4X² + 3X -1
=> 4X² + 4X - X - 1
=> 4X ( X +1) -1 ( X + 1)
=> ( X +1) ( 4X - 1) = 0
=> (X +1) = 0 OR (4X - 1) = 0
=> X = -1 OR X = 1/4
-1 and 1/4 are the zeroes of the polynomial P(X) because I we will put X = -1 or X = 1/4 in P(X) then remainder will come 0.
