why are acids not stored in metal containers?

metals are reactant and can react with acids

Acids react with metals to produce hydrogen gas and metal salt thus desired properties of acids are lost and the container may wear off leading to spilling of acid causing burns,scalds,and even something more serious Hence they are not stored in metal containers
