Lung alveoli are quite covered with blood capillaries to transfer oxygen to different parts of the body.

Oxygen is required by the body cells to get energy for replenishment.

Moreover, it also helps the heart to optimize its working efficiency as the oxygen rapidly diffuses into the blood and release carbon dioxide.

The arteries supply oxygenated blood all over our body which arevin turn used by the individual cells to synthesise glucose into energy.
the blood capillaries arecselective pathways which directly connected to the cells and for its selective nature thats why it supplies oxygen and collect the waste materials and transferr it to the vein but the two types of bloods does not get mixed up.
hope it helps, plz mark it brainliest....
