Why are animals like lions not found in equatorial forests?

all animals are adapted to survive in a  particular areas ,a polar bear cannot live  or survive in a hot place  . as same as lion . they are not  adapted to survive in an equatorial forests which  are known as evergreen forest .

- In equatorial forests, there is abundance of trees but livestock is rare due to extreme heat.
- As it's hard to find prey in these hot jungles, predator animals like lion dont live in equatorial forests.
