Organisms producing asexually just copy their DNA and split into many parts. So there are not much difference in the DNA of the parent cell and the offspring while the organisms performing sexual reproduction there is an involvement of both mother and father. Each of them contribute equally in the DNA of the offspring so there are more variations and thus lesser hereditary features.
