Why are bird perching on electric lines not killed.

1.because they put their legs at a time.
2.and their is no blood in their feet,so electricity do not get conducted.

The bird perching on electric lines not killed because the leg of bird have no blood then there is no ions present. , since there is no blood then the electricity can't be conducted.
