B-Rabbit or Jimmy "B-Rabbit" Smith Jr. is a fictional character played by Eminem in 2002 American drama film "8 Mile".

"Lose Yourself" is the most iconic song of this film and Eminem won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for this song.

In this film, Jimmy "B-Rabbit" Smith Jr. (Eminem) is a young white rapper who lives in a trailer park in Warren, Michigan and his effort to start a career in rap.

Jimmy "B. Rabbit" Smith Jr. is a major character in the 2002 movie, "8 Mile". Jimmy is portrayed by Marshall Bruce Mathers III. The character of B. Rabbit is in fact based on the person Marshall Mathers was in the late 1990s when he was in his early twenties. 8 Mile is set within the autumn of 1995 and tells the story of Smith who is a 22 year old White-American male living with his very young sister, their alcoholic mother and her abusive boyfriend in a rundown trailer home north of the Michigan highway M-102. Rabbit's job is as a sheet metal factory worker. However, his ambition in life is to become a succesful rap artist. The following songs are told from the perspective of Jimmy "B. Rabbit" Smith, Jr.:
