Blood is considered a connective tissue for two basic reasons: (1) embryologically, it has the same origin (mesodermal) as do the other connective tissue types and (2) blood connects the body systems together bringing the needed oxygen, nutrients, hormones and other signaling molecules, and removing the wastes.

Same is for Lymph they help in binding and supporting the blood vessels. They also carry wasteful things to the kidney for the filtration of the blood

Answer:

Blood and Lymph are called fluid connective tissue because as lymph flows from lymphatic system and connect lymph vessels and nodes and work as a connection between them. Blood is also a fluid and connects our muscles in the whole body and circulates oxygen.
