Bone is made mostly of collagen, it is living, growing tissue.

Collagen is a protein that brings a soft framework, and calcium phosphate is a mineral that adds hardens and strength in the framework.

This is because bone tissues are strong and non-flexible.

The advantage of these properties for bone functions are as follows:

It works as the framework for the body structure.

It makes the body strong, non-flexible and rigid.

It protects the delicate organs of the body.
