Why are carnivorous animals found in the grasslands?

Carnivorous animals mainly live in grasslands because that is the only place they can survive.
This is because the prey of these animals are available only in grasslands as they feeds on grass.
Their body needs water also to survive which is important for grasslands also.
They cannot live in the Arctic mainly because they are warm blooded and have fur.
So they cannot survive there though some carnivores live in the arctics as well.
