cells are generally of a small size because cells are the basic functional unit of life


cells are small in size because cells from tissue and tissue from organs and organ forms organ system if cell itself will be larger so how the organ systems will form so this is why cell is generally small in size

No it's not necessary that cells are always small in size as the smallest cell is Mycoplasmas about 0.3 micro meter and the largest is of ostrich.
