cells come in different shapes & sizes. Different types of cells have to make different types of proteins according to their jobs which results variation in shapes & sizes of cells
for ex,
only red blood cells contain the protein 'Haemoglobin' which carries oxygen around your body. similarly, only cells in your eyes make proteins for detecting light.
